Testimonials

ComputerXplorers is committed to providing a quality service delivering innovative technology sessions to children in pre-schools and primary schools.

Our aim is to ensure that ComputerXplorers sessions are welcomed by teachers, valued by parents and encourage children.

We believe that feedback is an essential element in continually improving our product.

"A priority for improvement in our school has been the development of learning experiences for pupils which are meaningful and equip our young people with skills for life. We recognise that these experiences are often best delivered when working in partnership with others and ComputerXplorers have helped us achieve this for a number of pupils this session. The courses offered to pupils are tailored to their needs and interests and delivered by a highly professional team. Every effort is taken to ensure effective delivery of learning opportunities which motivate and engage our young people and planning has included opportunities for parents and staff to become involved. ComputerXplorers has given our children access to resources and equipment we as a school simply could not do and has provided advice and support for staff should they wish it. We are now aiming to build on this success by planning further courses for next session which will include quality CPD for staff and support us as we implement a Curriculum for Excellence."

"My daughter attended your club recently and loved it and talked to everyone that would listen what she was doing. Please could you let me know when new classes will be running as I would like for my daughter to take part - thanks for giving my child something fun and different to do"

Parent, Gylemuir Primary, Edinburgh

"My children have both thoroughly enjoyed learning about fingerprinting, the difference between hairs and fabrics and examining these things under a microscope as part of their CSI course. It has certainly given my daughter some ideas about a possible career. When they come home they are very enthusiastic and will babble away about all that was discussed at the class. Thank you for providing such interesting and informative classes. I very much hope you will be doing more courses over the coming years for them both to enjoy"

"ComputerXplorers classes are fun with a capital "F" and the pupils really look forward to them.  The feedback from teachers is really positive and the children are improving their ICT, maths and problem-solving skills at the same time."

Lynn Barnes, Head Teacher, Middle Barton School, Oxfordshire

"I am absolutely thrilled with the progress my daughter has made learning to touch type with ComputerXplorers. In a short period of time she has successfully developed a life skill that I consider is essential for her to have. I hope you will be continuing to provide this course in the future as I want her younger sister to be able to have the same tuition when she is a little older."

Parent of child participating in the Touch Typing course, St John's College Lower School

"ComputerXplorers provided a large number of technology club sessions at Reading Borough Council Playclubs. Given complete freedom of choice, the vast majority of children at the playclubs were eager to take part in the high quality activities which focus on learning by having fun. I was impressed by their friendly and professional approach, and commitment to quality of delivery. I would highly recommend ComputerXplorers to schools, after school clubs and holiday clubs."

Andy Barker, Targeted Play Manager, Reading Borough Council

"The children have loved going to the ComputerXplorers club at our school. It has provided opportunities for the children to use computer technology that we do not currently have, so therefore the children are widening their skills and knowledge. The fact that the children have been able to take evidence of this home with them too, for example a DVD of their movie, has been an added plus for parents and pupils. The programmes provided by ComputerXplorers are well planned out with timings and costings and leave little for the school to actually do for the club to work successfully."

Jane Newman, ICT Coordinator, Oak Cottage Primary, Solihull.
